This was mentioned by WarrenHall and BlackPhantom745 previously. iso, or gives an error message of some variation of "disk image corrupted", use a disk imaging program like PowerISO or AnyBurn to extract the files. This is also how I got STFD to work, but there's a guide below by katiekat823 posted that may be helpful if your game doesn't work. The majority of these games were made with Windows 7 in mind, but SCK in particular needs to run on Windows XP or 98. If you're running Windows 10 or 11, try working backwards until you find a version that works. Go to "Compatibility" and change the Compatibility mode to run the program in an older version of Windows. If the game still doesn't work after installing as an admin, try left-clicking the Game.exe file and clicking "Properties". Installing the DirectX End-User Runtime has a bunch of the legacy versions that will ensure your games work with just the one DirectX download/install. The version included with these games is outdated anyway. You can install DirectX yourself from the microsoft website if you don't already have it.
Allow permissions and then continue the install as normal. Ensure you install all games as an admin: left-click the setup.exe file and navigate to "Run as administrator". (Except MID, which I bought, and SCK, which I only played the Remastered version of.) These installs can be a little confusing if you aren't used to them, so here's a few quick tips and tricks if you're having issues: For example, try using, "Help - Cannot put out fire!" or "Stuck - Tile Puzzle" or "Help: Paintbrush & Finger Print" is much more helpful (and you'll usually get a quicker response) than making a topic that only reads "Help" or "Stuck".All the games worked for me.

I don't have all the cat parts if that helps? i've looked at walkthroughs and it seems the only thing i'm missing is ryan fixing the media card :/ Please can someone point me in the right direction on what to do? the last thing i did was get told by victor to stay out of the lab.
i'm SO sure i've snooped everywhere in ellie's office: letter from cousin, computer codes, capacitor thingys, bin key, control room code. I literally have nothing to do! i know i need to ask ryan to fix the media card in nico's office but that dialogue never comes up. i've fixed all the tesla coils, found all the possible information i could on gray's computer and absolutely exhausted conversation as no one will talk to me, in person or on the phone. I am COMPLETELY stumped! all i have on my checklist are investigate ryan and snoop ellie's work desk.
